I am a pharmacist and geriatric clinical pharmacologist. I am Professor Emeritus of Pharmcotherapy and Outcomes Science at Virginia Commonwealth University. I serve as co-PI of the Virginia Geriatric Education Center’s Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program at the Virginia Center on Aging and as faculty in the VCU Richmond Health and Wellness Program, an interprofessional teaching and care coordination program in low-income senior housing that I co-founded in 2012. My role in these efforts is facilitating integration of age-friendly practice into community-based care. I am also a visiting scholar at the Gerontological Society of America. I received my BS in Pharmacy, graduate Certificate in Aging Studies, PharmD and PhD from VCU.
