Since joining the staff in 2008, I have focused GSA on advancing innovation in aging, GSA is the nation's largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the aging field. The Society works to advance innovation in aging and disseminate information among scientists, clinicians, policy makers and the public. I am honored to be leading the Reframing Aging Initiative to foster more accurate narratives of aging to replace the outdated “conventional wisdom” that dominates public understanding.
