Role Overview
Share your knowledge, experience and insights with another GSA member ("mentee"). Mentees can be at any stage of their career.

Responsibilities

• Complete the mentor enrollment form on GSA Connect 
• Identify a mentee by searching the Mentor Match Directory (or wait until a potential mentee contacts you)
• Learn your mentee's goals for the mentoring relationship
• Review this document for more information

Time Commitment
The frequency of meetings and length of the relationship will be determined by the mentor and mentee.

• It is recommended to initially establish a regular meeting schedule (e.g. weekly, every-other-week) and revise, if needed.

Role Commitment

• The length of the mentoring relationship is determined by the mentor and mentee.
• It is recommended to establish an initial length for the relationship before or during the first meeting (e.g. 3 months, 6 months) and extend, if mutually agreed upon.
