Role Overview
Help select the next editor of The Gerontologist publication.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Biological Sciences Vice Chair and Biological Sciences Vice Chair Elect
• Recommend candidates, follow up on leads identified from GSA stakeholders, and network for potential candidate referrals.
• Assist with promotion of nominations and editor applications.
• Provide feedback on the process and make recommendations for modifications.
• Review applications for Biological Sciences editorships and interview selected applicants.
Time CommitmentUp to 10 hours, including application review and meetings to discuss applicants. Most of the work will occur January-July.
Eligibility RequirementsCurrent GSA membership and primary member of the Biological Sciences Section at time of application and throughout term.
Role Commitment
January 2022 - December 2022 (1-year term)
