Bio

I am a PhD candidate at the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI) where I conduct my research in the theme group Work and Retirement. Moreover, I am affiliated with the Sociology Department of the University of Amsterdam.

In my PhD project "Late-Life Labor Market Decisions in a Couple Context", I aim to unravel how older workers' labor market behavior and retirement decisions are influenced by their partners. I take a multi-actor approach in which workers and their partners are both seen as active participants in the retirement decision-making process.
