Bio

Born in 1981, I graduated in Medicine and Surgery at University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB), Italy, and then specialized with honours in Geriatric Medicine in 2011. I spent a few months at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock TX, dedicated to research on prostate cancer cell biology.
Back to Italy, I got a Research Fellow position at UNIMIB between 2011 and 2012, and then a Visiting Research Fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY, for 2 years (2013-2014).
In Italy, I have been Research Fellow from 2015 to September 2017 at UNIMIB, and then I gained a position of Researcher from the same institution. At the same time I was enrolled as a physician at San Gerardo Hospital ASST Monza, with direct responsibility of the Geriatric Medicine and Subacute Care Unit.
My clinical and research focus is mostly oriented toward dementias, neurodegenerative disorders, frailty, and hip fracture/orthogeriatrics.

Other than medicine, I love spending time open-air hiking, biking and running. I love sports, especially soccer, biking, tennis, and beach volley!
