Not sure when the applications are due for the next Change AGEnts Communications Institute (July, Chicago), but I wanted to recommend it to anyone participating in this Community. I found the entire couple of days to be valuable but the session on storytelling was specifically wonderful. Having dedicated time to crafting a story, reviewing some examples with other attendees, and then taking another stab at writing a story was really valuable. It helped me recognize that setting aside a good amount of time to spend on these activities was both needed and valuable. Taking the time to find the right word, the right phrase and to really create an emotional connection with your audience- capturing their immediate attention- is worth it.
