Very true. If we can understand the particular quality of social factors that are predictive of, or associated with MCI, AD, and other dementias, we have an opportunity to focus on strengths in the African American and Black cultures that may help to mitigate further disease progression.

I agree - there are differences regarding the perception of dementia as a disease. That's one of the reason why we also address topics like stigmatization, and social inclusion etc.
