GSA has many interest groups that are formed around a topic or issue that cuts across disciplines. Interest groups meet at the Annual Scientific Meeting and provide opportunities for networking, collaboration on research projects, and increased involvement for members and non-members in the conference program. As Chair of the Interest Group Committee, I'd like to encourage you to attend these sponsored sessions as well as attend the meetings that interest you. You can learn more about the 40+ interest groups here. I've attached a sheet with their meeting times and locations. You can also search "Interest Groups" in the Meeting Planner to find sponsored sessions.

Interest Group Conveners, I encourage you to reply to this discussion and tell attendees about your interest group.

    Debra

Interested in improving acute care outcomes, including preventing delirium and falls?  Join the discussion about the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP), a cost-effective, widely disseminated model.  HELP is an innovative model of hospital care designed to prevent delirium and functional decline and to improve overall quality of hospital care for older adults.  The mission and goal of this SIG is to allow all current and potentially interested HELP sites to come together to hear the latest updates about HELP, such as the new website and upcoming webinars, and to network and discuss successes and challenges in the implementation process.  Staff from HELP Central as well as a representative from a HELP Center of Excellence will be present so we encourage all with any interest to attend!
