Bio

Dr. Kenzie Latham-Mintus joined the Department of Sociology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) as an Assistant Professor in 2013. Previously, Dr. Latham-Mintus was an NIA Postdoctoral Fellow at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research. Dr. Latham-Mintus received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2011, and her research interests include health and aging with an emphasis on disability and chronic illness. Much of Latham-Mintus’ research focuses on identifying and understanding health disparities among older adults.
